Karen MorganWhen I was in high school a friend of mine had parents with numbers tattooed on their arms. I remember them sitting sadly and quietly In their kitchen holding hands. This book answers many questions that I as a child knew not to ask. I was so drawn into this book that at one point I had to check to see if I still had my legs and all my fingers. This book answers the big questions for me, what happens after? How do people come back after something so horrible happens to them? “ The brothers of Auschwitz” vividly draws a picture of Living with PSTD. But it is also a book of hope. Of how even people that we think are distributing our lives deserve to be treated like human. How often we caused that unrealistic image of distraction. As painful as this book was to write and read i am grateful for it. Thank you Dov, Yizhak and Sarah for bringing this difficult tale out of the darkness.
