"This book was so good! I really didn't know what to expect going into it, but it did not disappoint in the least! Definitely going to be one of my new comfort reads, and I wish I had read it sooner! I loved Linus and Arthur so much! Lucy was probably my favorite of the kids, though I loved them all! Such an amazing book! Love the found family trope! Definitely worth the read! 10/10 would recommend! "
"This book was much better than I thought it would be! This book has magical children, they all have their own personalities, troubles, worries, and personal growth! You can see that they have their childlike innocence though the whole world tries to call them monsters. The main character, Linus, has so much growth throughout this book and shows the importance of doing what makes you feel happy and fulfilled in life. He also makes note that following all the rules isn’t always the best decision. I’m not big on love stories but this has a queer love story that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy!
Although this book wasn’t high fantasy or big on world building, that characters and the story line really carried me through the book and kept it interesting. It was very much a warm hearted tale and made me want to read more books like this one.
It gives Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children vibes or The Umbrella Academy, and made me very happy. It shows creating safe spaces for children and letting them know it’s okay to be themselves. This overall was just a very cute book!"
"5/5 I loved this book. I kept putting it off for some reason and I wish I hadn’t. I would love to keep reading about this characters because I fell in love with all of them. "

"This book definitely has a slow start but once you start getting introduced to the full cast of characters it drew me in. It's a sweet story about acceptance and found family"
