Iris Chow7/10, really great prose, I loved the exploration of mother daughter relationships, more of a collection of short stories, I had a bit of a hard time following. Also really cool exploration of mixed cultural identity, having two different cultures exist in harmony rather than dissonance.

Iris Chow9/10, blazed through it, flowed really well, centered a really complex interesting main character with tons of depth, loved the deep emotional take on immortality and the family dynamics

Iris Chowpretty ordinary YA novel, the ending was crazy and had me ripping through the pages. Lots of hints to the climax throughout, dragged at some points.
