Sydney ElzingaRebecca Ross has some AUDACITY leaving me hanging like this. Divine Rivals is fast paced and entirely enchanting. The world building is spectacular and character growth doesn't disappoint. I pray that God's don't start fighting on this earth because GOD DAMN that **** is scary.

Sydney ElzingaI don't get the hate for this book, I found the world building quite detailed and well written. The character development is more than pleasing and well thought out. The whole idea behind this book is unique and it stands out. It had me hooked from the beginning.

Sydney Elzinga3.75 stars, rounding up to 4 🌟 All in all, it was a great story, and definitely had divergent undertones but only subtle. The one thing I wish for it was that there was more meat to the story. I feel like there was a lot missing that could've brought me closer to the characters. I felt like the journey should've been longer and had more detail. Either way, I still really liked it and I will definitely be reading the next!

Sydney ElzingaThe Scarlet Veil is what our shelves have needed for a long time. Enemies to lovers. Violence, heartbreak, and magic. It's gothic and cold, and nothing compares to the brilliant way the author has threaded together the perfect story. This book has some of the best character development I've ever read, and everyone is surprisingly lovable. And that ending? I need the second book NOW!!!

Sydney Elzinga5 FRICKEN STARS!!! This book is SUCH A GEM! An absolute wild ride and the next great series. It's SO CREEPY, SO DARK! the character development was some of the best i've ever read, and the twists almost gave me whiplash. I need to know what happens next 😭

Sydney ElzingaThis book didn't let me down. I'm a huge fan of dystopian/apocalypse. This hit every mark on my checklist. It's gory, it's messed up, it shows us shattered society and minds. I'm starting awakened ASAP and I cannot wait!

Sydney Elzinga3.75 🌟 It was a decent story. The story sometimes got jumbled and I had a hard time realizing what was going on. Good spicy scenes though and great character development. I just wish it was written a bit better.
