Listening to Kenny G

"I really enjoyed this Kenny G doc and wouldn't mind watching it again. It was interesting to see his early life, how he got his start playing the sax, how he held the long notes, just everything about this. I was amazed by all the flak he received, which I interpreted as jealousy of his enormous success. He seemed to take the criticism well though. Glad he did what he wanted rather than try to follow others' sets of standards as to what jazz is. Smooth jazz is one of my favorite music genres. I may be partly partial as I very much enjoyed playing alto sax in grade and high school and also very much like the sound of the sax."
