Swan Song

" 👎🏾 Honestly, nothing much really happens in this movie; it just meanders. I think it was well-intended, and Udo Keir gives a really great performance, but honestly this was such an overly indulgent & sentimental, boring movie. 😴 It’s about a a flamboyant hairdresser who has a former client (from his “glory days of running his salon) who has died, and as a last request, she wanted him to do her hair for the funeral…I suppose this is to be his “swan song,” so he goes back to visit his former hometown and has a series of conversations with people, rehashing past traumas. At other times, he meets new people and bores them with past glories that no one cares about. That’s pretty much the plot of the story 🤦🏻‍♀️ 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😴 💤 It’s just super slow, super boring & I didn’t like it… it wasn’t for me. #jennifercoolidge "
