"Rouge scientist get on a flight trying to protect a virus they want to weaponize later when the outbreak happens. This was a lot deeper than I expected. They do way more character development than these movies normally require. The collage students, the professional golfer and his wife, the prisoner transport and the crew all have their little back stories that they get into briefly. In fact it took was too long for them to get to what we came for. It’s a good 30 minutes before we get to any zombie action. The claustrophobic nature of being trapped on a plane works well. It does have a decent body count and plenty of violence. Once it got going it kind of fell apart in the logic area and plays out in generic fashion. Unless you need to see all zombie, movies this is one you can skip. Please check out my podcast Mostly Low Budget Movie Reviews with Clarence for a more detailed breakdown.
