"Has an undeniable charm that perfectly represents 80s action. It pays tribute to about every single badäss action flick and has a blast doing so. This is Dolph at his best. I could watch this film over and over again and never get bored. Sure it's over the top, but that's what it's supposed to be. The 80s were all about excess and so is this wonderful underrated enjoyable action delight. Recommended for all fans of the VHS Generation. Oh, and yeah, it's "I Come In Peace", the European title Dark Angel is terrible."
"The only thing I remembered about this movie from back in the day was the iconic lines "I come in peace"... "And you go in pieces, bleephole." I was surprised to find it goes by a different title now- the original name was "I Come in Peace." Duh. Took me awhile to figure out exactly what was going on with the plot until they finally spelled it out for me- alien drug lords. 😂 I thought they were vampires from the future or something? What a dumb premise for a movie. Totally worth the watch though, if even just for the nostalgia. CDs had just come on the scene. Crazy to think about outliving the birth and death of certain trends through your life as you get older. "
