"<i>EDIT: Hi! Julia from the future here. I am currently finishing the last book and this whole series ended up being a lot more than I expected and I just realized that in my ignorance to perceive what the whole story would amount to I mistakenly gave books 2 and 3 a four star rating but I just changed them back to 5. So my first 5 star rating of this series was actually Book 2. If I could make that happen this book would be a million star rating. </i><p><br/>I knew this would be my first five star read of the series from the first page of this book. Now that I think about it, if I knew that everything would amount to this when I first started it I would go back and give a new rating to the first 3 books. (Maybe when I re-read this) They were way better than I could comprehend at the time. <p><br/>Moaning build a world so intense, cruel and terrifying and yet I never want to leave it. I don’t want this to end. Immensely complex characters that basically take a life of their own. Unpredictable, sexy, original, so imaginative and <b> Karen’s writing</b>? I could read thousand and thousands of pages of her internal monologues as MacKayla and never get tired of it. <p><br/>This rocked my world and I don’t want to say goodbye to this series but I can hear Barron yelling at me, saying: <b>“grow the **** up.”.</b> <p> <img src="https://media1.giphy.com/media/DXFzuOpPXvUiI/giphy.gif?cid=ecf05e47jpdkcwo15sximl8aql9zzm4kycgsotuhhi51s28j&ep=v1_gifs_search&rid=giphy.gif&ct=g"/> <p>So that’s what I’m going to do.
