"Dude. This series is quickly becoming my favorite that I have ever read. The world building, the character development, the intensity of the plot, the battles, the magic... just everything. This book was good to the last page, and I can't wait to read the next one. "

"Please stop playing with my emotions!
This tandem read (yes it’s a power move if you do this) it has so many plots happening and the end leaves you gutted, gasping and shrieking.
You know in true Maas tradition it’s the last 100 pages…."

"More like 2.5 stars; the plot moves forward, but at the cost of character. Most characters feel off to me in this book, doing, thinking and saying things that aren't in line with how they were and are. It felt like they were altered to advance the story. It was a real disappointment. "

"A lot of exposition moving forward in this book.. I still like the relationships which is what saves this."

"Aelin's adventure continues in this "you can't put I'd down book. Maas really knows how to tell a story and leave you drained while simultaneously begging for more. Highly recommend doing the tandem read with Tower if Dawn for maximum impact. 9/10."

"I decided to do the “tandem read” of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn and could not recommend it more!! It was AMAZING! Whoever created it made the chapter transitions so smooth. It flowed so naturally that it felt like it was a single book. I chose to do this because EOS follows one group of characters and TOD follows a different set of characters along the same timeline. I’m so attached to them all I just couldn’t part from any of them. I’m so glad I did it this way. So worth it for me. I just love the intricate web Sarah weaves. The story has so much depth and complexity and I’m just eating it all up. The way the characters intertwine is so well thought out and genius to me. I cannot wait to start the last book in the series."
