"This book was a huge surprise for me. It's been sitting in my TBR shelf for awhile, once I picked it up, I had a really hard time putting it down.

With a story written similar to Rothfuss, and a magic style as unique as Brent Weeks I really couldn't get enough of it. The characters and world were deep and memorable enough that I have high hopes for the second one.

I think the only issue I had, and it is probably one of the publisher. I don't think the title really grasped the protagonist personality or the story itself. It's not even that "Baity" to bring in a reader, instead it's seems stereotypical, for something like a seeming pulp fiction fantasy novel. Which this novel wasn't!

"
