"The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 is because I was very, very confused about the timeline and who was who in the story. A couple of characters looked so similar and I wasn’t even sure if they were sisters, mother and daughter, or just neighbourhood friends. Other than that, I really liked this one, especially because the author expanded the storyline and the overall world that she created."
"My brain needed a little reset, and this was the perfect series to continue with that in mind. It’s less about the story, which is lovingly inclusive, and more about the adorable art and feelings the art invokes. It was the right book at the right time, and I’m glad to have discovered these lighthearted graphic novels!"
