"The history and lore of the land here is so rich and the story told here is very intriguing! Among a diverse cast of characters, the main character Anya is very relatable and I love the darker side of her tale."

"This was a simply adorable story! Anya's journey was something I will remember for quite sometime. I adore most if not all of O'Neill's work but this takes the cake. This was a wondrous and fantastical journey that was only enhanced by the illustrations. It's easy to win me over with graphic novels this gorgeous Overall I rate this a 5/5.

TikTok: @wvbookwitch
Blog: http://wvbookwitch.blogspot.com/"

"I normally love all of K's work, but this one didn't strike me as much as their others. The images are lovely as always, but I felt the plot and characters needed more development. I was often confused by things Anya was saying--I felt we needed more of her background and what happened with her mom? I did connect to Anya's want to make a difference and fear of failing, and letting everyone down, and loved the focus on community that is a part of all of K's work. I appreciate the gentle storytelling and worlds they create so will continue to check out anything they put out."
