Sarah J. Maas uses plot twists and foreshadowing skillfully throughout her tales of high fae, humans, and other good and evil entities. More importantly, Maas invests her efforts into crafting fully formed characters, who grow, change, and experience trauma. These factors combined make ACOTR exciting, inspiring, and relatable. These are excellent books for young girls in need of a modern day, dynamic female protagonist, or ten.
I can't wait to jump into the Throne of Glass series next. "
