"Very concrete and detailed. Hard to review as I read “how to get dressed” in the middle of this one (due to library deadlines) and I’m getting them mixed up. I generally liked the tone of this book better as it was more focused on your wardrobe approach overall, and had a stronger sustainability and minimalism bent. This isn’t a book for fashionistas only. I found I already basically do a lot of what’s in here in terms of refusing to wear uncomfortable items, so I feel the book could have gone more into detail and with more images of good fit, since I don’t feel like I need to be told every few pages not to buy uncomfortable clothes. I was at least as inspired by the By The Book podcast on this as by the book itself! How to Get Dressed did a better job of covering specific alterations and fabric-care details."

"I skimmed this after it was listed on several minimalist/capsule wardrobe blogs. There wasn't anything that was useful concrete information to me. I found the KonMari method much simpler and easy to implement. Who is going to take the time to journal and pinterest when they just want a simple sturdy WORKING wardrobe?"
