"I just love Tim Gunn. He just seems like the nicest guy in the world (and is reputedly just that)--and it comes through tenfold in this book. There's a lot of humor--including self-deprecating--and a bit of an ironic tone here and there that had me chuckling out loud. The book is chock full of suggestions and tips that you can choose to take or not take as you will. I skimmed quite a bit of it because the whole question of the difference between black tie and white tie doesn't come up often for me; but I thoroughly enjoyed the parts I did read."
