"The characters keep getting better and better, and as you read, you continue to develop a relationship with each person as if you were there in the world with them. This is done in such a great way that the ending of this book left me so upset that I needed a couple of days to process it and my emotions. If the author is able to do that to me a woman who hardly shows any kind of emotion ever, then you know the book is extremely well written. It would have gotten 5 stars, but I'm still upset about the ending, and I'm petty that way. 😂 "
