"Beautiful animation, soundtrack, it has serene and comfy vibes. Konohana Kitan is a 12 episode show about fox spirits working at a hot spring hotel, I'd classify it as slice of life, although there are a couple of romantic subplots that come up. I find this show perfect for rainy days with its beautiful atmosphere however there are episodes with deep, almost somewhat existential, themes. This show doesn't really have sexualized fan service. There are scenes where the characters are in a hot spring, obviously naked, but it isn't treated oddly, as in no zoom in's or groping. The show is also very inclusive when it comes to queer representation and I'm very appreciative that it doesn't showcase lesbians as "too pure" or "too sexual", like many media creations do.
