The Island

"I'm in the middle of watching this and I am quite enjoying it. The unbelievable thing is that it was a home screen recommendation on this app 😱. And I've never heard of it 😲. I'm watching it on The Roku Channel, and it's dubbed. If you want subtitles, maybe try a different streaming service. Also it says Sloborn, but when you go to watch it, it's called The Island. It's a creepy well written and well shot slow burn pandemic/virus show. And please don't confuse slow burn with boring, it's not boring at all. The music is eerie and suspenseful, and the overall feeling is quite dark. It also takes place on an island, which only adds to the overall sudpense. Only 2 seasons, so I hope it wraps things up somewhat 🤞."

"Enjoyed the first season, the second season was less enjoyable for me. I like shows that deal with pandemics or natural disasters and hone in on different characters’ reactions, behaviors, etc. The first season did well with that, but the second season whittled the characters down too much, in my opinion."
