"Okay, hear me out: I think this anime is the best typical sports anime. Period. It's incredibly character driven and has so many good dynamics and storylines. It's also weirdly high stakes and has so, so many weird little traits scattered throughout it. Imo, better than Haikyuu!!. Better than Free!. Better than any other sport anime from that time period. The only thing is that there is a LOT of technical jargon and at the beginning it can be hard. But it is worth it. Pinky swear."

I love Onoda so much since we relate in how we act a lot and he just brings comfort to me, basically the whole Sohoku team brings me comfort, TBH THE WHOLE ANIME BRINGS ME COMFORT!
