"Im going to start recommending Outlaw Star over Cowboy Bebop for a few reasons. 1. It’s an adaptation and most of what comes out now is an adaptation. 2. It has the usual cliches of anime; catgirl, emotionless white haired girl, badazz protag, talkative sidekick, eye candy. 3. It’s “Outer Space” has a sense of romance about it like explorers on the high seas searching for treasure. 4. It’s completely ridiculous and I can’t help but smile over its ridiculousness. "
