"Y’all do not give this show the respect is deserves. It’s so good, it had some really creative ideas, it mixes real life and animation. Just watch the tomato episode and tell this is a bad show. I’ll wait, still waiting. The show is directed at kids though so don’t expect anything Grand."
"💁🏼♀️I’m a stay at home mother of 5 kids - who now have all finally gotten past the “TV-Y” age group for whom the little kid programming is made - I can HONESTLY say that “Charlie & Lola” is the ONLY ONE, after the roughly 14 years of what felt like an interminably mind-numbing rotation of potentially insanity inducing amounts of said content, for which I still have fond memories, and kind of miss seeing once and awhile! 😏It’s so precious! It’s clever & charming without sacrificing its sardonic, witty sass…all while maintaining funny character voice talent and visually captivating artwork! They now range from ages 13 to 20 years old & every now and then someone will randomly toss out (in a spirited British accent) one of a handful of memorable lines (at least ones from storylines that we found particularly funny or cute contextually) like, “I can do anything that’s everything ALL on my OWN!” (S1,E2) https://youtu.be/q3txXKpxjhg?feature=shared or “has anyone seen my red, shiny shoes? Oh Shiny shoes…where are yooou?! I must find my red, shiny shoes - they are red & shiny & have and they are my favorite & my best!!” (S2, E8) https://youtu.be/qfFeRg-MoJg?feature=shared 😂 Anyone unfamiliar with this show really should check out the provided clip - totally worth it! I left the link of the mentioned episodes from YouTube above! For US audiences I know most episodes are available on YT! 🤭♥️ "
