"So I didn't think that I'd be into this reality survivalist competition show but it kind of sucked me in. I'm a big fan of Survivor since its inception, this show takes that concept and turns it up a notch... But for less prize money. They only offer $250,000 to the winner and the conditions are pretty harsh. Each contestant treks into the woods with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Two family members for each survivalist monitor their progress back at HQ and help make decisions to get them supplies and either penalties or rewards as the show progresses. At any time the family members can decide to extract the contestant if it gets to be too much. Each survivalist is alone in their own camp. Sometimes they compete for a reward, sometimes there are supply drops, and sometimes they get nothing but an empty box. Some thrive, some just survive, and some can't hack it and beg to be EXTRACTED. Cool concept but the prize money should be at least a million for enduring such harsh conditions. 8/10"

"12 teams are dropped off in the wilderness, with one person trying to survive alone without any supplies and their friends/family watching from a compound and sending supplies via drone. It's part survival show, part social experiment, and it's super addictive. The cast is great, with some likable teams and some not so likable. You get invested in who'll make it and who'll tap out. The challenges are tough, and the wilderness is brutal. It is a fun, intense watch that's perfect for fans of survival shows and competition series. I think they need to raise the prize to $1 million vs $250K. The conditions are pretty extreme. I will say that the finale felt anti-climatic and didn’t quite seem fair for the remaining 4 teams. Hopefully they will switch it up if they have another season.."
