The Story of Pearl Girl

"This drama was rather okay. I highly anticipated its release because of the FL Zhao Lusi, and the first few eps really pulled me in! And then not even a quarter through it felt like it was already falling a bit flat. I must confess that I was one of few that didn't enjoy the romance aspect and could've done without it. I also wished to see more of the pearl industry, but the story quickly moved away from it. If I'm honest, the actress that had me wanting to continue watching was Chloe Xie, I thought she did a great job showing the different sides and transformations of her character. I personally wouldn't recommend, but I believe overall more people enjoyed it than didn't. 3/5 🦪🛶"
