"Amazing doc. I’ve always been captivated by the assassination of jfk. I’ve watched all the docs and all the movies, listened to all the conspiracies… this doc was unique. What I took away from this is the unbelievable pain and incredible strength Jackie Kennedy suffered. The doc was painstakingly targeted on her trauma. It didn’t say it outright but it was clearly a main focus (thankfully). It was heartbreaking and something I’ve never seen before in the telling of this story. The second point was the absolute clown show that the police department was in the follow up to the assassination. From parading the murder weapon around to allowing press in the hallways as they escorted Oswald to and from interviews, to HOLDING A PRESS CONFERENCE WITH OSWALD in the police station. The doc definitely showed me a new perspective on the event and while it didn’t take away from the global impact, really showed the family impact. I can’t even imagine the strength it took for that woman (Jackie) to go through what she did. It’s almost not conceivable."
