"This is a great series from different directors retelling African folktales for new generations. The actors are so perfectly suited for their roles, and as the viewer, you feel like you are in their homes watching their lives play out. I learned a lot about African folklore and how some of the legends are interpreted. (Warning: ⚠️ Episode 3: Anyango and the Ogre is about domestic violence. The contents will definitely be a trigger to some.) Some English audio in every episode, and various African dialects in each episode."
