"This is a beautifully animated sci-fi drama about a prison guard who gets a job on a mining planet and ends up in the middle of an alien invasion. He has to quickly grow up and help fight the enemy that no one has ever seen before. Nothing is what It seems on the planet, and the characters Jim, the main character, meets are unique and have their own agendas. I was surprised how quickly I was drawn into the well-paced and suspenseful story. The characters are diverse, the voice acting is very engaging. Each episode is 26 minutes long, so I binged the entire season on one day. I believe that a second season is coming. Japanese audio. "

"Corporate greed opens Pandora's box leaving a ragtag gang to fend for themselves and find a way off the hostile planet, outlined by themes of loss, redemption, and hope ... not exactly original but kept my interest. Animation/CG really isn't my style."
