"It's fine. Nothing outstanding, but not bad.
I will say the main guy was refreshing. He wasn't your typical k-drama male lead in terms of looks. I fact, the second guy was more of that. But his personality of being standoff-ish yet just kind of done with everything vibe was kind of fun.
However, the female lead is every stereotype you can think of in a show like this. Plenty of moments of her having fun and smiling with the main lead watching on from a distance. Her I can handle myself attitude yet I'm a clumsy dork you've seen thousands of times. That's not to say I don't like her character. She's fine enough and you'll enjoy watching her. But as the show goes on her moments tend to drag on too. I will day though, all the times she acts first when it comes to their romance shocked me. Which I do love a good surprise, the only problem is everytime it happened it made me realize I was watching a show. I'm not sure why. I think it's because it never seemed to fit the character or moment. But because it happened almost everytime I think I just didn't understand her character very well.
Now the side characters. They're surprisingly fun, & a bit annoying in the beginning. As for the villain, there's a big build-up to this other guy being it then a drop off to it being the first guy they teased. Except that first guy dresses like an old grandma(not a joke), and I can never take him seriously as our antagonist for this show. They always propped him up for suspenseful moments, only to bash him down with comedic relief within a few minutes.
The ending is incredibly rushed. They try to fit every character getting their happy ending in the last 30 minutes of the final episode because the story clearly wasnt over by episode 16, and not all of the characters get covered. So it felt unsatisfying in the end. Like I'm not glad I watched it. That's the reason it's only 3 stars. But I did finish it.
Overall, nice show with a good hook, fun moments, but unsatisfying to watch unfold."
