Titanic is a made-for-TV dramatization that premiered as a 2-part miniseries on CBS in 1996. Titanic follows several characters on board the RMS Titanic when she sinks on her maiden voyage in 1912. The miniseries was directed by Robert Lieberman. The original music score was composed by Lennie Niehaus. This is the first Titanic movie to show the ship breaking in two.

"Not the 1997 Hollywood blockbuster film iconic romance by any means. Also has cast of George C. Scott, & Tim Curry in a most disturbing role...horrifying to watch but not of the comedic or paranormal one bit.
But I actually enjoy this version of the story too...although there are a couple of difficult scenes that can trigger: (So definitely go into this one w/a mindset that it's not all love, romance, & expected doomed tragedy; There's brutality as well.) "
