"I really enjoyed the camera work and editing in this show, it really helped enhance the storytelling especially with all the transitions between past, present and fiction. This is definitely a "sit down to watch" type show too, cause otherwise you might get confused more than a few times. I'd probably rate it 9/10 :)"
"Is it because I’m such a avid watcher of the tv survival show ALONE. And I know how extremely hard it is to be put in the middle of know where and live off the land. So much so I couldn’t suspend my disbelief no matter how hard I tried. I honestly don’t think the writers understood that. The show is too predictable and very unrealistic. I can say it’s well shot and well acted but the story doesn’t work. This could have been a movie and worked better. Also we don’t need flashbacks every second. "

"“Holding you is difficult today.”
This story is one of survival, unparalleled grit, and unrivaled strength. It puts an ordinary, brave girl into the most terrifying, exceptional of circumstances. A non-commercial plane goes down sparing its one victim, Liv Rivera, and she has to fight to the death to stay alive. She has a mighty good reason for being on the plane in the first place, though, as she is going to search for someone, even incidentally finding herself in the process.
The series is told through a compilation of flashbacks and the present where Liv is isolated, alone, and gripping fiercely for meaning and the next breath and day. Nothing is set in stone as she has to adapt to her surroundings and new challenges with immediate foresight for the future.
“There’s a difference between being left and being forgotten.”
Liv becomes a character wholeheartedly to root for as she taps into any survival skill she can possibly, imaginatively think of. It is, at its core, a tale of the utmost perseverance and need to take a bold chance when the moment calls for it. “Keep Breathing” is beautifully filmed as truth interweaves with the art of self-reflection. And we find that in dark spaces and places there can be subtle room for hope, too. "
