Twisted Metal

"I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I love that they kept it fun, and didn't take themselves too seriously. You would think that a show that is based on a video game may not be a good idea, but this works on every level. Filled with campy goodness, great characters (that are true to the history of the game) played by a great cast, tons of action, quirky scenarios, a cool soundtrack, and even a decent storyline. Easily bingeable at 10 half hour episodes. The whole first season looks to set up the Twisted Metal tournament that is teased for season 2. I can't wait. 9/10"

The humor was hit-or-miss at times and I seriously question how John Doe managed to survive on his own for so long. That said, it's mostly fun, mayhem, and videogame easter eggs for Twisted Metal fans. (full disclosure: I vaguely remember playing the game and remember none of the lore)"
