"I love Ding Yu Xi, which is probably the only reason I finished watching this drama - he plays his character really well, but the character is annoying. The ML doesn’t really grow throughout the story in terms of character, until literally the last three-ish episodes. The FL is well played, but your typical “working woman with a dream and can do spirit.” Second lead relationship was definitely toxic… so not sure how I feel about that. I will say that I loved the setting it was based in. The literary world does not get much attention in Chinese drama culture, so that was refreshing. "
