"These short, concise documentaries are awesome! Netflix has many of these shows and they are great. History 101 is very informative and entertaining."

"Recommend, highly… The title caught my attention due to my interest in informational programs. Though, I didn’t think it was preferred to entertainment based options I had. Thankfully, shortly later, I did followup and watch. I’m captivated and amazed. It offers much more than history. In my view the core is addressing issues we face now or those in our near future. Historical context is offered add it is important to nurture understanding and help define the topic at hand. At the end of each episode, in left searching my own thoughts on the issue. It’s well presented with video clips and narration. It keeps your attention without over sensationalizing. Whatever your views it seems fair handed. It might be too progressive for some though. Hope you watch. "

"Great little tid bits on history. The plastic episode inspired my daughter (6) who is completely in to recycling now and wants to be a marine biologist when she grows up to save the animals. So thank you 101 history!"

"I’m looking for more documentaries that are visually stimulating like the Explained series , or History101 on Netflix. Does anyone have any recommendations?"
