"An incredibly inspiring documentary that covers Gabby’s personal & political life prior to her shooting in 2011 and how that physically changed her but didn’t change her indomitable drive to always be trying to do better, her commitment to her marriage and her desire to be of public service. It shows intimate footage of her right after the shooting and her 1st speech therapy sessions when she struggles to find words. She still struggles to find words. It’s very interesting how the brain processes & produces language and this movie does a great job of explaining aphasia (what Bruce Willis also has). This also covers her husband Mark Kelly’s 2 successful runs for the Arizona Senate (& her campaigning with him). Very uplifting! "

"I really loved this. Some may be put off by the dual plot of gun control and showing all the major shootings since January 8, 2011. I wasn't. If you didn't think this woman was inspirational and incredible before, you will after watching this. It shows video her husband Mark took of her recovery process and in five weeks, she was struggling to speak but was able to sing! Even after all these years, she is more fluent using music than in normal speech. The bullet traveled through her entire brain and it was doubtful she'd talk or walk again and she is able to do so much more than that although it's difficult for her every step of the way. She continues to be a beacon of hope."
