What Happened at 625 River Road?

" Two young women decide to go to New York but get a rental out in the woods. When they arrive the woman initially says they got the date wrong however she later says maybe she was wrong and lets them stay. Now they realize something is off but decide to stay anyway. That night some strange things start happening. The story itself is very solid with a couple of twists that were actually pretty good. One twist you will see coming and the other you may miss…or at least I missed it. They do a good job of hiding that twist in plain sight as you can see when they go back and show all the stuff you missed. The main problem here was the acting. The performances were either subpar or terrible. Which still could have been ok if the terrible one wasn’t the lead. She was really bad and brought down every scene she was in. You could make a shot for shot remake with better actors, and this would have been good. I still think its watchable for the twists, but I can recommend this too highly.
