"I don't know what it is about this movie. I LOVE it. I watched like 20 times the first month after seeing it for the first time. I believe this is a like it or you don't type of movie. But if you're into Yakuza themes, can deal with a bit of violence, and are okay with subtitles then this might be for you. The acting is phenomenal. I do think it takes more than one watch to get everything due to it being subtitled with the exposition. It does have its flaws but overall I was enamored with the character dynamics. For anime fans: Miyavi in this role makes me want to see him portray Hisoka if Hunter x Hunter was a live action because I think he would be perfect for it. I was also unfamiliar with Junichi Okada as an actor. This movie led me to The Fable: The Killer Who Doesn't Kill series of movies he stars in and they too made my favorites list. I watch them repeatedly as well. "
