"Despite the sad/heavy topic of this documentary, there was so much beauty in this film. I’m grateful that this filmmaker was able to capture so many moments of joy…and immortalize the thoughts & feelings of the children effected by Katrina. "

" So well executed & beautiful. I am in the same age range as the director/Katrina babies. It’s so eye opening to me how bad it was for children who lived thru that, esp black children who are raised to be seen & not heard. So traumatic. It really puts into perspective how hurt & closed off the younger generations are. I’ve seen When the Levees Broke & Beast of the Southern Wild. This is a great addition to really feel how they felt."
