"I loved the first 20 minutes of this! A genuinely novel, hilarious introduction was heightened by the fact that I was surrounded by a bunch of passionate film nerds that were cackling. The vibes were high on day one of SIFF. But sadly… I fell asleep. Well, not fully asleep but a solid 85% asleep. My eyes were open but my brain was no longer processing the visuals that were filtering through my wittle pupils.
I’ll admit, going to an indie French time travel apocalypse movie at midnight was not a smart decision. That one’s on me.
