The Solid Gold Cadillac

"This film starring Judy Holliday and narrated by the great comedian George Burns is fairly good. The plot is mostly about Judy, who buys a small amount of shares in a large company. She upsets the stock holders meeting, and eventually gets hired at the company. But there is a lot more to do, and the movie plot begins to be a little more interesting. The rest of the film drags, while trying to make a statement about big corporations and the small man. I didn't like the so-called love story, but by that part in the film, you don't care too much anyway. I really watched this to see how this era treated seeing a woman working in a large company. It was fair for the time period."
