"Spooktober: Man, I'll say right up front it's kind of a bummer that this doesn't try to emulate the art style of the original comic run. I get that they turn out a bunch of these animated features of a relatively okay quality a year so it's not fiscally viable but the original Long Halloween run has one of my favorite art styles of any comic ever. That being said this is still a really solid story and it's cool seeing it in a movie. I personally love the depiction of Harvey Dent in this as someone fighting against a darkness that was always there instead of a perfect man who just snaps when tragedy happens. It's also got a lot of favorite villains and the story around Falcone here is a bit heartbreaking. There's definitely a lot to like here and I suggest checking it out... Then/or reading the graphic novel because it's really good."
