"This is a a fun coming of age type movie. It's a reminder of the painful yet joyful days of transition from teen to adult. The whole virginity premise is weird but I guess they were struggling for an anchor in the narrative. 🤷🏼🤷♀️"

"🌟6/10🌟 Very nice performance by Dakota Fanning & I liked the “summer after high school graduation” vibe set in Brighton Beach, NY, but this #coming_of_age #drama felt VERY underdeveloped. It felt somewhat akin to a mild yet nice YA novel. Got to admit I was disappointed that this movie hardly even showed much of the supporting cast, particularly & especially Demi Moore (she played the mom of one of the girls), but I suppose this story’s focus was more about the girls’ friendship & their experiences, not so much the parents, so I suopose that’s understandable."
