"I read where this considered the first modern kung fu movie and I can see why, it feels way ahead of its time. Directed by and starring Jimmy Wang Yu, it has a very conventional plot about a student seeking to avenge his master but it contains some really good action sequences and a visual flair that makes it stand out. The villains are cartoonishly hate-able, it moves quickly and it knows what it is. Just a really fun movie. 7.5/10."
