The Silencing

"This thriller/mystery set in the rural woods of an animal sanctuary was surprisingly suspenseful. A fairly original storyline, started a little slow but falls together nicely and things really amp up from there on. So if you're looking for a decent watch in the serial killer mystery genre, you could do far worse than this little known flick. And it's a quick watch at just around an hour and a half. 7.5/10"

"I didn't think the trailer looked that good compared to how good the movie actually was. The beginning falters a bit, in that I think it should've pulled me in a bit quicker, but about halfway in I was more than invested. One of my favorite things about it is the details they plant around, so we as an audience have everything we need to connect the dots before answers are revealed (without the clues, I really don't think this was a predictable movie). I recommend if you want a thriller that's not so cliche - in my opinion. "
