"This was a bit strange. The movie is functionally the same as every other animated movie in its category, racism is bad, friendship is more important than anything, and be true to yourself. All good lessons, but it doesn't stand up to a movie like Zootopia, which is very similar. Also I feel like this movie would confuse everyone, at least partially, who hasn't seen the older TV show Friendship Is Magic. "
