"This is probably my favorite horror movie this year.
The atmosphere and cinematography are incredible, the story offers perspective on the Western view of India and a fresh take on the terrors inside the human heart and how power corrupts.
TW: gore, some jump scares, scary monsters, lots of blood and death, all beautifully crafted and shot...but really, none of that is what this movie is ultimately about.
This was shot in the real town of Tumbbad, where it apparently never stops raining."
