"I watched on Prime very good doc about 27yr old Alison (now with last name Bodi,) who had the will to live, get help & to provide details to police & in court under very difficult circumstances/policies. Her stoicism, stamina & faith give her the great strength to survive, forgive & share her story of hope & recovery.
What this documentary does, aside from enabling us to hear Bodi's recovery, it points out the flaws in the S.African law especially as they relate to women in the criminal justice system. There are laws & procedured that must be altered in order to provide equal justice, as well as protection for victims of crimes, both women & men.
Definitely worth a watch."
