"I truly enjoyed seeing Donnie Yen play a different type of role. He is an overweight police officer who stumbles upon a plot by the Yakuza/Triads. He has some funny lines, and is clearly having fun performing martial arts stunts in a fat suit. As usual, his character is appealing and relatable. "This has been my favorite Donnie Yen movie that I’ve watched so far. He plays a Bruce Lee loving Hong Kong police officer sent to Tokyo where he gets mixed up with the yakuza. It’s like if Michael Bay produced an action comedy romance. It’s kind of jarring to see slapstick fights to the death but this pulls it off and the action is good. "
