"The sequel adaptation to The Shining, taking place years after the events in the first film, as the boy has become a man and begin to have a unique conversation with another kid starting to use her Shining. Worth watching as the mystery of the world of those with powers come to like!"
"3.5⭐️ Pretty good sequel to The Shining though nothing like that masterpiece. Not really scary but does have one scene of horrific child torture. I wish Stephen King would stop using kids in his stories. Though I would love to see the little girl here in her own..just all grown up. Aside from that it was a fairly compelling story about poor little Danny, his grim adult life and sad redemption through facing powerful evil forces..what else lol "
"I liked this movie more then The Shining..THERE I said it! But I don’t think I like The Shining that much but I loved this movie so much it felt more Proper Stephen King fun! I do like the mix of the book and The Shining movie itself I thought that was a good way of doing it, and the villain was really cool fun. Just a really cool movie! "
"*SPOILER- REVIEW*
Danny is grown up in this movie and is struggling with himself being an alcoholic and all, and gets entangled in something with bad things going on, with children and people missing. The bad guys in this movie is interesting, they eat up The Shining ability within people who have this ability and somewhat disturbing to watch. You might need to watch The Shining before watching this movie, to get a full understanding of what's going on. I was totally engrossed in the story, the world and the characters, and I couldn't look away. I was surprised that they returned to the Hotel in the Shining for the finale in this movie. If you watched the Shining then this is a must watch if you want to know more of the World of Stephen King's."
