"Fun precode film. William Powell and Kay Francis spark off of each other. This is one of those sophisticated comedies that studios pushed out in the 30s. This is a rarity because it is a major studio having a pivotal scene with characters smoking "funny cigarettes." It is also how you know it is precode because that scene wouldn't be allowed in 2 years."
