"Wow, I did not expect it to go in that direction. It truly played into the idea of man and not being perfect.
It made me feel ways I didn't expect. I felt anger, sadness, betrayal, frustration, and plain annoyance. Yet I also felt happy, good, sorrow (in a good way), and fulfilled. I will admit it is a lot to wade through in the beginning due to how it is setting everything up. But man is that ending worth it. Whoo-ee!
I felt like both sides were heard and it came to a satisfying conclusion. Truly and utterly, just wow.
It's not perfect and you are going to get mad but I felt like that ending helped make me feel something. Feel almost complete. Not like I'm completed by watching it but that the movie ended itself. In the entire series this man has played a key role and now his story comes out and it kind of works even if you might want to cry in the beginning and get mad. (Yet that's truly helps make the payoff at the end worth it)
Also that girl who's faith is being tested here feels so real and relatable. I love her, and I love the line "I don't feel God's love here." It's something Christians probably would like to overlook, but it's helped me in my daily life in unknown ways and I carry that line with me. It makes me truly look at things from all sides and strive to show God's love to everyone. So I am biased in writing this due to how it made me try to be a better person.
I will give it this good review even if that beginning I will NEVER get over. Still a quality film that truly shows faith in a new light."
